Sheep
At the Eagles Ranch we have 450 breeding ewes. All our sheep are pedigree worthy, toil free and Double ARR, ARR. We have 335 white Tesselaars, 50 Blue and Badger Head, 50 Flevolanders for year round lambing, 20 Dutch Pied and for the hobby 5 Suffolks. Breeding goal of our sheep
The aim is to breed well-developed, functionally built Texel horses that are at the forefront when it comes to performance characteristics such as growth rate, fertility and milk production.
Meat
Sheep of the Texel breed are kept according to the strict quality and sustainability criteria of Waddengoud. For example, the lambs stay in the pasture for more than 100 days a year before they are slaughtered. The lambs are delivered directly to butcher Peter Haker almost all year round, who has them slaughtered at Boschma Slachtbedrijf Texel and then processes them himself.
