Facilities

The boxes in the Stable Block are 3 x 4 meters in size and have a paved paddock of 5 x 3 meters. The stables are provided with a straw bed which is mucked out and refreshed 3x per week by the Stable owners. There is unlimited roughage for the horses which is available through the open fronts of the stables. From the stables a covered passageway leads to the Indoor Arena where riding with cap is compulsory. The Eagles Ranch has a large Outdoor Arena of 30 x 60 meters, an Indoor Arena of 25 x 40 meters in size provided with an ebb and flow riding surface and a Round Pen which is 18 meters in diameter. Next to the Round Pen there is the Pony Playground with Agility devices such as a Bridge, a Curtain etc. The Indoor Arena also provides space for the Horse Shower (€ 1.00 per 10 minutes of hot water).

Horses Pastures

There are various horses pastures around The Eagles Ranch that can also be reserved for your horse. Horses graze in herds, but you may also make a reservation for private grazing.

Trail riding

The Eagles Ranch is located just outside Den Burg, the main village of the island. The woods are within easy reach from the ranch. Webbing the woods you will find very nice and well maintained bridleways. The beach can be reached through the woods and dunes. Mind, horses are allowed on the beach from 7 pm up to 10 am.

You can also go riding in nature reserve Waalenburg where you will find wide verges along the roads and cycle paths. This meadow bird area is only a 10-minute ride away from the Eagles Ranch.
