Foals at the Eagles Ranch

At our ranch American Paint Horses are bred with our own breeding stallions that cover all of our breeding mares in their natural environments in the pasture.

The foals and mares go outside in the great pastures so they can move around and exercise freely, they can play with their peers and can also find a quiet spot to sleep. The mares as joint guardians protect the little ones

Horses for sale

These foals and some of the mares are for sale.

Foals can also be seen at the Eagles Summer Event

Each paint foal born at the Eagles Ranch every year is entered into the United States www.apha.com pedigree and are for sale for real paint horse fanciers.

However, one or two foals are offspring of one of the Paint stallions, but do not have a full breed Paint dam. Therefore they are called Pinto. For example, in the photograph above you can find Haflinger mare Amber with her Pinto foal Eagles MR Zero.

Stallions are welcome until the winter when they are two years old. It is possible to stay in rearing after that, but from that age on they remain outside in the meadow with their peers day and night.
